Electives & Specials
Beyond core academics — PE, Music, Art, Garden of Learning, and SEEDs enrichment create a vibrant learning experience.

Physical Education
Emphasizing fitness, confidence, teamwork, and wellness through movement concepts and organized activities. Supports CYO sports (basketball, volleyball, track, soccer), after-school clinics, and year-end Field Day.

Music & The Arts
Music is integral at every grade level — from singing and movement for younger students to recorder, ukulele, and choir. As Yo-Yo Ma said, music must be vital for cultural literacy. The arts program nurtures individual talents through prayer services, Christmas pageant, spring musical, talent show, and Special Person's Day performances.

Garden of Learning
Hands-on sustainability education with chickens. Students study biology, responsibility, and environmental stewardship while investigating local agriculture — from chicken care to egg collection to produce cultivation.

SEEDs Enrichment Program
Parent-funded initiative financing field trips to destinations including the San Francisco Symphony, Chabot Space Center, Lawrence Hall of Science, Colonial Days, Cal Shakes, and regional theater venues. Students also compete in Scripps Spelling Bee, National Geographic Geography Bee, writing/poetry/art contests.
Middle School Elective Rotations
Biweekly selections — students choose their own path each rotation.
